Will these LED door puddle lights drain my car battery
No. Our LED car door puddle lights consume less than 1 watt of power each. They only activate when the door is open via infrared sensor, and automatically switch off when the door closes or in bright daylight. They are wired to the door-open circuit so they cannot stay on while the car is parked or locked.
Will installing aftermarket puddle lights void my car warranty?
In the US, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects you: a dealer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed an aftermarket accessory unless they can prove it directly caused the damage. Rain, snow, puddles, and car washes will not damage the unit. The housing is aircraft-grade aluminum with sealed connections.
